Subfloor - July'21

  The front half of the floor is in the main living area. Cabinets will be anchored to it, and most of its surface is walkable. So it needs to provide both a strong base to hold cabinets down in case of a road accident, and adequate insulation.

  The U rails previously bolted to the van floor provide an ideal structure for that. L sticks can be tucked and screwed inside the rails. 1/2" foam boards provide a 1st layer of insulation and, being placed above the floor bumps, will let water flow through and dry up in case of a spill. 3/4" high ply count birch plywood panels top up the assembly, and provide high screw-holding power for cabinets:
 
  The perimeter of the space along the outmost rail on the driver side (left side of the pic) was then lined up with glued down 3/4" thick sticks to provide a base for that section's top panel:
 

  And voila !
