Cargo Doors' Shelf

Now, that was not in plan, initially... But once the dining area's benches were in, the tall space under the cargo doors provided about 10" of head space. In a camper van where every inch counts, this unused space is a red bull flag 😁

 

This is a perfect space for a bookshelf, with side alcoves for a touch of green plants. 

 

3 weeks later, after much scribing and many redos, the shelf was in:

 

An access panel will close the center hole, held by magnets to provide access to the door latch anchors.

Another access panel will be routed out, above and to the right of the center hole, to provide access to the back of the Ford Transit's back up camera module.

Now to the hard part: which books to take on board ? Choices, choices...
