The
Victron Multiplus inverter is so deep it couldn't fit in the window
wall cavity with the other electrical equipment. So it is mounted in the garage space, right below the 110V breaker panel, at the bottom right of the pic:
A 3/16" Aluminum plate bolted to the van wall provides a transition plane for the cables, and holds the inverter:
To improve cooling of the inverter the top space that opens into the window cavity was left unobstructed. That will reduce the recycling and gradual heating of the air in the garage volume, by allowing a column of hot air to rise.
It is screened, to prevent... bug invasions !
Son of a gun, this was a chore. Gotta take care of my lumbar discs now. Lugging around 40lbs of blue deadweight all day played a number on them 😅
